Over 200 people are gathering tonight at the JPPS Elementary School information meeting. This meeting is taking place even though many people, amongst them teachers, parents and other community members asked the school to postpone the event due to Yom Haatzmaut, which is being celebrated tonight.
Before the meeting started, some parents distributed documents showing that there have been enough signatures on an online petition to recall the Board of Directors.
JPPS Principal Adina Matas told the meeting that the changes being done to JPPS are necessary and must take place in the next school year.
Ken Scott , the Principal of Bialik, announced that the fired administrators will be replaced by two yet to be hired Vice Principals.
Federation CJA and BEJC also have Representative in the meeting . Mr. Daniel Cantor , Mrs. Keren Gazith (She is also a parent in Bialik) and Mrs Dale Boidman, the former Vice President of Federation’s Woman’s Division and current National Chair, March of the Living Canada
